Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant for our team located in Streetsboro, Ohio. This role is vital to our financial operations, particularly in the areas of intercompany transactions, month-end close, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. The Staff Accountant will also be expected to work with the SAP ERP system, a key tool in our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle intercompany transactions efficiently and accurately

• Assist in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting

• Manage accounts receivable tasks, including customer invoicing

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records

• Utilize the SAP ERP system effectively to streamline accounting processes

• Work in the office for training, then transition to a three-day office schedule

• Contribute to the overall success of the team by performing other duties as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using SAP for accounting processes

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is desirable

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Willingness to stay updated with new accounting policies and regulations.
