Lakeview Memorial Hospital Association Medical Staff Services Coordinator in Stillwater, Minnesota

Supports all aspects of hospital credentialing and privileging processes and ensures Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements pertaining to Medical Staff Services are met. Provides services for the Medical Staff, including facilitating Initial and Reappointment credentialing; FPPE, OPPE and Peer Review activities; new provider orientation; meeting management and support. Employment through Lakeview, but supports credentialing and privileging for all Valley Hospitals (LH, AH, WH, HH). MSO team consists of MSS Director, another MSO Coordinator and Admin Assistant all supporting Valley Hospitals, cross coverage within the team. In addition, Credentialing and Privileging functions are supported by system-based Credentialing Service Bureau that is responsible for primary source verifications. MSO teams are engaged in system-wide improvement and standardization efforts, this position would have an opportunity to be engaged in this work as well as routine credentialing/privileging tasks. Work Schedule: M-F, Daytime Hours (Approx. 8-4:30 p.m. but flexible) Flexibility with Hybrid work options. (remote/onsite) Required Qualifications: Associate's degree or three (3) years experience in hospital credentialing and privileging Prior experience in hospital quality, data reporting, accreditation and/or credentialing Proficient in windows MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other similar applications Strong professional written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented with an ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple tasks Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information Ability to gather and summarize information and draft reports Ability to identify opportunities for improvement Work effectively with and support team members Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 3+ years hospital credentialing and privileging experience CPCS or CPMSM certification Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS regulations pertaining to the job Knowledge of medical terminology as demonstrated by work experience or education.
