Job Description
We are a concrete contractor based in Stillwater, Minnesota, looking for a dependable and diligent General Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks related to concrete construction and maintenance. This position involves physical labor and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
Responsibilities
• Aid in the preparation and pouring of concrete.
• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, and curbs using various hand and power tools.
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints.
• Assist with masonry tasks including laying bricks, stones, and blocks.
• Mix mortar and grout, and spread onto surfaces or foundations.
• Conduct basic concrete testing in the field and plant.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Manage inventory and materials.
Essential Skills
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
Work Environment
• The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
• Work is year-round and involves site-to-site reporting straight to the site within a 1-hour radius of the shop in Stillwater.
• PPE is provided by the client.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stillwater, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
