JOB REQUIREMENTS: Community Horizons is assisting with recruitment for a friend in our community! If you have a few hours to spare during the week, and take pride and joy in helping others, we would love to hear from you! This position is funded through the self-direction program/managed care. Under self-directed services you work directly for the individual, which offers more work life balance and a great opportunity to build relationships. This position is hired directly by the member and not through an agency. Burnt out from working for facilities? Keep reading! Hours available: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm 8:30pm (Additional hours may be available on Saturdays if you are interested!) Wage: \$15.00/hour Tasks may include, but are not limited to: - Providing companionship and emotional support/interaction to our member - Assist with nutrition, hydration, and medications via PEG feeding tub (will train!) - Hands on support with incontinence cares (including changing of briefs, pericares, and clothing changes when needed) - No manual feeding or bathing required - Engage our member in socialization, activities, and hobbies Who we\'re looking for: - Someone who is reliable, dependable, outgoing, and friendly - An individual comfortable with \"being a part of the family\" - An acceptable background check - Experience working and connecting with non-verbal persons preferred - Please be advised, there is no smoking on the premises (even on breaks) Want to learn more about what\'s available?
