General Description

CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Warehouse Manager with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative II (ITI2) team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

As a member of the ITI2 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

What you’ll get to do:

With 16,000 square feet of space in a physically secure, non-shared warehouse located in Sterling, Virginia, CACI Contractor Test Lane Facility (CTLF) provides lane representations for each existing LBI/ITI2 technical system for Inbound and Outbound, Border Patrol Checkpoints, Inbound and Vehicle Biometrics, as well as mock lanes for pedestrian and signage solutions. Managed by the CTLF/Warehouse Manager, this space supports engineering and test installation of new and updated systems, including unit, integration, production-level testing, systems acceptance testing, and quality acceptance testing.

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with CBP ITI2 CTLF policies and vision

  • Oversees CTLF operations, including 24x7 operations support.

  • Work with the technical team to facilitate CTLF testing activities, and multiple-lane POV simulation. Provide solutions that resolve problems and improve the operational functionality at the lab as well as support overall ITI2 innovation solutions.

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations

  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements

  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security

  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system

  • Prepare annual CTLF budget

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies

  • Plan work scheduling, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees

  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)

  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

You have:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to:

  • 3-year check for felony convictions

  • 1-year check for illegal drug use

  • 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud

  • BS degree or experience in logistics, supply chain management or business administration

  • Minimum of 7-9 years direct in Logistics or related field.

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager

  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff

  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$77,200 - $162,200
