This Systems Engineer position is within the Simulation Solutions & Services (SS&S) business area. SS&S develops and builds simulators and training systems for both military and commercial customers. Devices range in complexity from desktop trainers to high-fidelity weapon systems and full-flight training systems. This position is located in Sterling, VA. A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates.

Work alongside our team to assist in performing systems tasks including design, requirements capture, development, documentation, integration and testing of complex system of systems
Demonstrate thorough communication with the team
Learn from and support experienced engineers with various tasks including but not limited to (integration of a system, troubleshooting, running and facilitating testing, producing reports and updating documentation)
Contribute to a culture of trust, respect, integrity, excellence and innovation.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
Possess communication, documentation and collaboration/teamwork skills.
Experience in systems design including requirements capture/analysis, system design, systems integration/test, including hardware/software integration.
Experience working within software development teams in an Agile environment using Kanban or Scrum methodologies.
Experience with simulators and training systems for military and/or commercial entities
