Job Description
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Integration & Database Engineer to develop and maintain data pipelines, optimize database performance, and support seamless system integrations. This role requires strong SQL expertise, ETL experience, and the ability to collaborate with backend engineers on API design. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data integration pipelines.
Optimize and manage relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Assist in database migrations and schema design.
Implement and manage ETL processes for smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Collaborate with engineers to design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices.
Document database architectures, processes, and workflows.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Citizenship Requirements : All applicants must be U.S. Citizens residing in the United States.
Eligible to get a Top-Secret clearance
3+ years of experience in database management and data integration roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including database performance tuning and query optimization.
Experience with ETL tools and processes for efficient data transformation.
Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Aurora).
Understanding of API integration and data exchange formats.
A self-starter mindset, with the ability to take initiative and contribute to database and integration improvements.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for performance bottlenecks.
Passion for documentation and automation, ensuring scalable and repeatable database processes.
Technical expertise:
Programming languages: Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript
Frameworks: React, Angular, Node.js, Flask, Spring, or similar
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test automation
Database technologies: SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Security best practices (e.g., input validation, encryption, role-based access control)
