The position

By joining our team in CFO you will have the opportunity to:

Be part of Treasury & Tax Competence Center, which is a team delivering advisory, specialist and business support services as well as systematically developing and allocating competent personnel in accordance with Treasury & Tax priorities and business needs.

By joining our team you will be able to work in the following areas:

  • Capital Markets (CMA): Responsible for group treasury strategy and policies, including management recommendations and corporate requirements related to capital structure and financial risk management. CMA is also responsible for execution of corporate financing, liquidity management and financial risk management for the Equinor group.

  • Internal Treasury (ITR): Responsible for the group’s cash management infrastructure, subsidiary banking and treasury management of Equinor’s subsidiaries as well as corporate credit.

  • Structured Financing (SF): Provides support and advice to the Equinor Group and business areas on structured finance matters related to business development and M&A. SF also co-ordinates and execute project financing and external re-financing on behalf of relevant business areas.

  • Treasury Compliance and Control (TCAC): responsible for group treasury’s internal and external transactions control, processing and compliance.

  • Payments and internal bank (PIB): Responsible for payment processing and support globally within the Equinor group, as well as internal bank services, daily cash reconciliation of Equinor’s bank accounts and posting and clearing of in and outgoing payments and cash balances.

  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor master data (APR): Responsible for processing more than 350.000 invoices from 10.000 suppliers every year. APR delivers billing and collection services, and is global responsible for creating and maintaining vendor master data.

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or another related subject.

  • A commercial mindset with an understanding of corporate treasury and financing activities is preferred.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A background of working in an analytical and systematic environment.

  • Good digital understanding, with an interest in improvement work.

  • Both newly graduated and more experienced candidates will be considered for this position.
