Robert Half Digital Transformation Process Manager in Stamford, Connecticut

Description

The Digital Transformation Process Manager is responsible for overseeing how business processes are designed, documented, implemented, and improved across core digital tools and systems. This role exists to ensure that operational workflows within key platforms are efficient, well-controlled, and aligned with broader transformation goals. By driving consistent process standards, managing procedural documentation, and embedding the right controls, the Process Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that changes to systems are sustainable, well-governed, and effectively adopted by the business. This role supports high-quality execution and long-term scalability across the transformation lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain process standards and documentation practices across systems to ensure consistency and alignment with transformation goals. Review and assess process change requests, ensuring downstream impacts and system constraints are considered before implementation.

• Embed appropriate controls into process design to support risk mitigation and ensure documentation and procedures meet appropriate internal requirements.

• Partner with business leads, IT teams, and external consultants to co-design processes that reflect both operational needs and system capabilities. Act as a liaison to ensure that process changes are executable and sustainable across teams and tools.

• Communicate process changes clearly and proactively, including rationale, impacts, and expected outcomes. Ensure that stakeholders understand implications across both workflows and system usage.

• Lead the rollout of new or updated processes within digital tools, ensuring they are practical, aligned with system capabilities, and designed for long-term maintenance. Consider tool upgrades, deprecations, and configuration limitations as part of rollout planning.

• Create and manage clear, accessible documentation for processes, procedures, and controls. Ensure that process designs support clean data flows and accurate reporting across systems.

• Identify, track, and mitigate risks and roadblocks that may impact implementation.

• Support teams in adopting new processes through documentation, training coordination, and on-the-ground enablement. Tailor support to different user groups and learning needs.

• Gather input from internal teams and consultants to refine processes and tools over time. Use feedback loops, adoption data, and lessons learned to drive iterative improvements.

Requirements

Experience:

• Proven track record in leading or supporting business process design and implementation across systems or tools

• Experience in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and process changes in a clear, accessible format

• Demonstrated ability to implement basic controls within operational or system-based processes

• Applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce process waste

• Strong background in collaborating cross-functionally with business, IT, and compliance teams to align on process requirements

• Experience translating business needs into system-enabled processes or workflows

• Ability to manage and coordinate updates across evolving systems, tools, or platforms

• Experience working with external consultants or implementation partners on process-related initiatives

• Ability to support user adoption through documentation, training, and enablement activities

• Comfortable operating in environments with developing governance or limited formal controls

• Proven ability to gather feedback and make iterative process improvements over time
