As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the operations team and act as the technical expert in electrical engineering and construction, providing expertise and support for capital projects as well as for the maintenance department and other relevant functions. Dow engineers play a crucial role in making sound technical judgments to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities
Support in design and electrical engineering according to Dow, German and European standards and regulations
Collaborate in the supervision of electrical systems within chemical production plants
Assist in planning new installations and carrying out modifications
Provide support for maintenance activities on electrotechnical systems and equipment
Engage in the operational management of electrical plants
Evaluate operational data and identify appropriate electrotechnical equipment
Maintain close collaboration with manufacturers, contractors, plant personnel, and external suppliers of the planning department and the German electrical team
Qualifications
Bachelor's / master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Recent graduate or up to two years of work experience
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a proactive mindset
Effective communication skills and digital literacy
Willingness to specialize in areas of electrical engineering and automation technology
Innovative and open-minded personality who thrives in multicultural teams
Motivated to grow and develop in an environment that fosters continuous learning
Fluency in German language and good English language skills
A valid driver's license
Preferred skills
Knowledge of CAD or similar engineering tools
Expertise in PLC (Siemens Simatic) or switchgear control systems
Knowledge about electrical protection equipment (e.g. protection relays)
