Description
This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at our St. Petersburg Corporate location.
Job Summary:
Assists IT Supplier Risk Management in research, organization, compilation,
analysis, tracking and reporting of the Raymond James IT Suppliers. This position will also be responsible
for monitoring, reporting and conducting analysis on the IT contingent workforce. Using knowledge and
skills obtained through education and experience, this position supports IT Supplier Management in the
following activities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute against IT Supplier Management Office strategy and related programs to ensure they meet the
IT business needs, using a pragmatic and integrated approach.
- Recommend process improvements for departmental and team enhancements as well as procedures
to improve internal controls.
- Ensure Supplier Risk Management and Procurement requirements are met, supplier related risks are
identified with corresponding actions plans created, and cost optimization is achieved in the contingent
worker program.
- Lead assigned efforts to collect, cleanse, normalize, validate, analyze and report IT supplier and
contingent workforce data for the IT departments. Develop standard reporting to accomplish strategic
initiatives approved by IT Sr. Leadership.
- Facilitate joint meetings with internal business clients to assist in IT contingent worker strategy,
forecasting, demand management, requirement development, and supplier selection.
May help lead cross functional teams through required Supplier Risk Management requirements.
May help with internal business clients in developing and reviewing statements of work, service level
agreements, contractual terms and conditions.
Develops and maintains profiles/overview of strategic suppliers and/or emerging strategic suppliers.
Benchmarks current industry best practices for IT Supplier Management in the financial industry.
Develops and maintains an in-depth understanding of IT business areas, its products, and suppliers.
Partners with colleagues, clients and control community members to evaluate the control
environment (supplier & contingent workforce) and develops recommendations to strengthen internal
controls and mitigation strategies.
- Stay up to date with evolving regulatory changes and market events impacting IT Supplier
Management.
Prepare IT Supplier Management data for internal and external auditing
Work with reporting tools such as Tableau and SQL.
Contribute to the design and improvement of IT Supplier Management report to fulfill all reporting
deadlines

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of
Fundamental concepts of supplier management and controls
Fundamental concepts of risk management processes, policies, governance and controls
Fundamental concepts of contingent workforce analysis
Fundamental concepts of project management methodology and execution
Skill in
Analytics, particularly with regard to assessing the probability and impact of internal control weakness
Verbal and written communication with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior
management and influence change.

Finance, Procurement, Supplier Risk Management and Operational Risk teams.
Form analysis identifying trends, propose action plans and execute appropriate actions.
Interface, influence, articulate, and present at the highest corporate levels inside and outside of
Raymond James.
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing in
priorities and deadlines in a fast paced work environment with frequent interruptions.
Education/Previous Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant Supplier Management experience.
OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human
Resources.
