Description
Job Summary Project Managers within the Marketing Department will support agency strategies by managing complex marketing projects for business units, financial advisors and other internal clients efficiently. With limited supervision, creates effective strategies for managing projects and partnering with others across the agency to ensure client marketing goals are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Supports client relations and project management of agency on delivery of complex projects. • Accountable for developing and building relationships at all levels of the department. • Researches project management concepts and develops effective approaches – in essence, serving as strategic business partner to account management team and clients. • Works with sub-department managers and traffic management specialists to oversee production by managing cross-functional teams for projects and day-to-day partner success. • Gathers requirements for projects, understands traffic operations and assigns/collaborates with appropriate resources. • Coordinates creative elements of client initiatives and, together with agency partners, presents project details to department’s clients. • Administers and monitors timelines and budgets at the initiative level. • Builds project plans and manages medium to large scope projects. • Makes key contributions in creating and maintaining internal project management tools. • Maintains documentation and communicates efficiently and effectively. • Stays abreast of project management news and trends. • Collaborates with agency teams and management in order deliver on medium to high impact projects and campaigns. • Understands business impact associated with initiatives. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of • Marketing concepts, agency processes and project management methodology including project management, analysis, administration and documentation. • Industry trends with the ability to determine and convey their potential impact upon various clients. • Creative production processes. Skill in • Organizational, planning and time management skills – as well as a “roll up the sleeves” mentality – sufficient to independently oversee multiple projects from start to completion. • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. • Creating and maintaining project documentation and communications. • Coordinating projects, communicating changes and progress, and completing projects on time and budget. • Demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness while applying feedback to improve performance. • Completing tasks on time or notifying the appropriate person with an alternate plan. • Collecting, researching and analyzing data. • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications. • Proofing and editing work. Ability to • Respond to project requests and works with existing process and formats. • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. • Work well in individual and group problem solving situations; with limited oversight, takes accountability for moderately complex client project needs. • Continuously build knowledge and skills in project management. • Respond promptly to agency team needs, respond to requests for service, information, and assistance and meet commitments. • Build strong relationships across the agency; gains confidence and trust of account and agency teams. • Support and explain the reasoning for decisions, as well as include appropriate people in the decision-making process. • Work in a dynamic, growing environment. • Manage multiple project deliverables, last-minute changes, delays, or unexpected events, while still responding to clients.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
