Robert Half is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Somali Bilingual Receptionist at a nonprofit organization in St. Paul, MN. This is a full-time in-house position, and we're offering a competitive salary of up to $23 per hour depending on experience.
In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring effective office administration and delivering superior customer service to all members of our community including students, families, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Professionally handle and redirect all incoming calls
Welcome all guests in a courteous manner
Assist in maintaining a professional front office environment
Coordinate and manage communications between the organization and our families
Schedule and manage appointments for guests and staff members
Demonstrate courtesy, tact, and diplomacy to foster a welcoming office atmosphere
Requirements
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent proficiency in both Somali and English
Basic clerical knowledge and familiarity with standard office equipment including computers, copiers, and fax machines
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Adaptability and openness to last-minute changes
Must successfully pass a local criminal background check
