Regions Hospital Food Production Supervisor in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is looking for a Food Production Supervisor to help plan, direct and coordinate the department food production system for our patients, visitors, and hospital employees. This position will oversee the following job duties/responsibilities: Lead and manage the preparation, production, service and distribution of the daily food service operation to patients, visitors and hospital employees. Oversee the infection prevention and food safety monitoring in the daily operations of nutrition services. Assist in the hiring process of employees and oversee the onboarding of new employees. Conduct performance evaluations and assist in daily and ongoing staffing needs. Responsibilities also include developing, maintaining, and evaluating programs, policies and procedures and improvement processes to assure ongoing excellent nutrition care and services. The position reports to their assigned Manager and performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Required Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience Two (2) years of culinary/food production work experience. One (1) year experience in purchasing and inventory control Service Safe Certification and Food Manager Certification through the State OF Minnesota within 6 months of hire Must have excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills FTE: 1.0; 40 hours per week Work Schedule: Shift Scheduled Between 530am-530pm, Occasional evening shifts. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
