World Wide Technology Principal Solution Architect - Hybrid Cloud in St. Louis, United States

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains the Hybrid Cloud architectural vision and strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall goals.

  • Leads the creation and implementation of Hybrid Cloud Architecture frameworks and standards to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.

  • Influences and shapes the organization's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and competitive positioning.

  • Evaluates and recommends new technologies and solutions that enhance the organization's capabilities and competitive edge.

  • Provides executive leadership and direction for the solution architecture function, ensuring it supports business objectives.

  • Drives business development initiatives by identifying, shaping, and closing new business opportunities.

  • Utilizes competitive intelligence and a deep understanding of industry trends to guide the development of innovative solutions that meet market demands.

  • Engages with key clients and stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, ensuring that solutions deliver significant business value.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence, encouraging team members to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

  • Create business cases for cloud investments, and develop POCs to demonstrate feasibility and value.

  • Manage and mentor solution architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree

Work Experience:

15+ years of experience in customer engagement, solution design, or technology delivery, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. Experience across Big 5 Consulting firms a plus.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 25% of the time Domestic and International Travel

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of RedHat OpenShift, OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware Cloud Foundations, and Hybrid Cloud Automation. Experience with cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and hybrid environments is essential.

  • Mastery of cloud platforms, infrastructure, and automation tools. Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Deep understanding of Hybrid Cloud industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the technology consulting space.

  • Knowledge of various technology stacks, platforms, and integration methodologies.

  • Proficient in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage client relationships, anticipate client needs, and deliver innovative cloud solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, microservices, API management, and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

  • Strong grasp of business development strategies, revenue generation, and market expansion techniques.

  • Familiarity with financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
