Job Title: Pipe Welder
Jobsite Location: Morristown, Indiana
Pay: 32-35/hr + 125 Daily Per Diem if you work full schedule
1st shift + Overtime 58 hours
Job Description
We are looking for experienced and reliable Pipe Welders to join our team at a soybean food processing manufacturing plant in Morristown, IN. The ideal candidates will be able to comprehend individual project scopes, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with other professionals on the job to ensure a mutual understanding of responsibilities. The position is expected to last approximately 2-4 months.
Responsibilities
Perform pipe welding tasks in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
Build, caliper, plumb, assemble, and fabricate pipes and pipe systems.
Weld pipes using various techniques such as TIG, MIG, and Stick welding.
Ensure the quality and integrity of welded joints.
Inspect and test welded joints for leaks or defects.
Essential Skills
3+ years of welding experience.
Ability to pass welding tests in TIG Carbon and Stick Carbon.
Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and SMAW.
Strong understanding of pipe welding positions, blueprint reading, and safety protocols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in brazing, plumbing, fabrication, schematic reading, soldering, blueprint reading, and isometrics.
Lift certifications are beneficial but not required.
Work Environment
The work will take place at an industrial construction site. Safety is always our top priority. Large equipment and materials will be in motion throughout the site, and individuals will be exposed to various weather conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
