The Payment Services department is responsible for the development and maintenance of the operational systems and web services used by Enterprise Holdings Clients and Customers to process payments for reservation and rental transactions. Payment services delivers business functionality used by clients on a wide range of platforms including Websites, Tablets, Kiosks, and Mobile applications as well as our counter applications in the Airport and Home City locations. Our technology includes a mixture of Java\Oracle and Microsoft\SQL Server applications.

Now is an exciting time to be part of this team as we are in the process of implementing new payment systems that will support payments in both wired and mobile solutions. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to learn about the multiple lines of business that EHI supports. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to support the full lifecycle of a transaction from a reservation, to a rental, to the final accounting transaction.

As a Software Analyst on the Payment Services team, you will be responsible for supporting our production environment and helping to maintain a high level of customer service. You will manage production escalations using the Request IT ticketing system thereby allowing you to troubleshoot, analyze, and assist in determining root cause for escalated production issues. This position assists with interpreting and resolving customer escalations within a set SLA. The Software Analyst also assists with documenting application issues and team processes.

In this role, you will be asked to research and present information in response to questions related to business and technical standards. You will participate in testing, identifying potential problems and researching opportunities to minimize customer impact. You will actively investigate, analyze, collaborate, understand and document the application/service functionality. As a Software Analyst you will serve as a critical team member.   • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • 2+ years of experience as a Software/Business Analyst, Software Support Analyst, or similar IT experience

  • Ability to write basic SQL Queries

  • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root cause and conduct initial investigation into problems as they arise

  • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to document both system design information and processes

  • Must be able to communicate and collaborate with all levels of management

  • Ability to partner with software development team members to communicate a detailed understanding of requirements

  • Ability to clearly define and create detailed documentation to describe complex business processes to the lowest level

  • Ability to validate that new software release are production ready and provide documentation for it to end users

  • Consistently demonstrates personal ownership of tasks, projects and job performance


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

  • Experience working with SPLUNK

  • Experience using JIRA/Confluence or another Project Tracking System 

  • Experience with Service applications is preferred

  • Experience working with Agile methodology or KANBAN is preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting payment devices
