Site Leader in St. Louis, MO starting up to $135,000/year with bonus eligibility and competitive benefits

We clean, store, recycle and reuse many of the large containers used in agriculture while serving our customers’ diverse product formulation and packaging needs.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Leader to oversee all operations at our St. Louis plant. You are the ideal candidate if you area hands-on, results-oriented leader with a history of revitalizing challenged operations, developing front-line leaders, and driving successful change initiatives.

This role involves ensuring safety and quality, managing production schedules, optimizing processes, and improving equipment reliability while leading a team of supervisors, operators, and maintenance technicians. In this role, you will excel at identifying improvement opportunities, inspiring teams, and driving sustainable growth to achieve exceptional business results collaboratively, safely, and efficiently.

How will you contribute to our team’s success?

  • Operational Leadership and Planning: Lead all operational activities at the St. Louis site by developing and executing plans that enhance productivity, profitability, and resource efficiency in alignment with company values and goals.

  • People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team by ensuring team members are cared for, engaged, motivated, and aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.

  • Safety Discipline: Lead with an unwavering commitment to safety by ensuring that all operations meet safety standards and regulatory requirements, and by cultivating a culture in which all team members prioritize safety and proactively identify and manage risk.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement to boost efficiency, optimize resources, and strengthen team member experience.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Finance, and People team members to ensure smooth operations and address cross-functional challenges; Contribute to strategic planning, focusing on sustainable growth and operational excellence.

  • Resource Management: Oversee labor, equipment, and material allocation to maximize productivity and ensure operational needs are met.

  • Maintenance: Champion a culture focused on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and asset management. Equip and empower the maintenance team to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities as needed.

What makes you the right fit?

  • You have obtained a bachelor’s in operations management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • You have 7+ years’ experience in a plant operations leadership role with full responsibility for people and profitability (experience in a small- to mid-size agriculture, chemical, manufacturing, or packaging[JW1] company preferred).

  • You are a proven expert in operational planning, resource scheduling, and workflow optimization.

  • You have strong experience in continuous improvement methodologies.

  • You are a people-first leader with a record of developing and sustaining high-performing, front-line production teams.

  • You maintain a firm commitment to safety and compliance with a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and other relevant standards.

  • You exhibit a demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes.

  • You bring strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of an organization.

  • You are dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers.

  • You have experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk, hear, stand, walk, or lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Industrial warehouse environment – not climate-controlled

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Safety glasses, steel-toe safety shoes, hardhat, long sleeved shirt and pants, and hearing protection (Company-provided).
