Sr. Business Systems Analyst
The Senior Business Systems Analyst analyzes business and information needs in order to design optimal systems solutions. Working under minimal supervision, this job designs system solutions that are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. This job also recommends improvements to the existing IT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirement gathering, and defines scope and objectives of each project.
Makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
Translates business requirements into application requirements, and works with all members of the team to execute the application successfully.
Engages client teams and explains moderately complex initiatives in an understandable manner, while also addressing any hesitations or concerns from the client.
Estimates the costs of various system solutions and prepares project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.

We are seeking a highly experienced NICE Actimize AML Case Management ActOne Business Analyst with over 3 years of expertise in the AML domain
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business requirements and data analysis, with hands-on experience in AML Transaction Monitoring, KYC and Sanctions Screening domains
This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, data mapping, business requirements and UI/UX requirements documentation and the ability to work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements
Required Skills
3+ years of experience as an AML Business Analyst and Data Analyst in AML Actimize Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening and/or KYC projects
Very strong knowledge of Actimize software and ActOne case management system
Proficiency in analyzing and mapping data from source systems to target data models
Experience in developing data mapping documents and defining data transformation logic
Strong ability to understand and document business requirements
Proven experience in developing Functional Specifications Documents.Hands-on experience with AML monitoring tools such as Actimize, Oracle, SAS, etc
Expertise in analyzing various types of transactional data
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and debugging
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in financial services or banking industry
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD) covering Actimize ActOne requirements like users, roles, permissions, workflow, workflow restrictions and automations, DART requirements etc
Work with Business users to developer BRD on Alert Ingestion, UI/UX design and development, Custom Manual Alert forms and requirements
Develop Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs).Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements
Prepare System Integration & User Acceptance Test Cases, Test Plan and Test Scripts
Perform SIT testing to document the evidence and review with Compliance, Business and Operations teams to achieve sign offs
Write SQL queries for data analysis and debugging purposes
Hybrid work is a minimum of four days a week in office, with one flexible day for remote work.
