Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aProduction Managerto join the OCL - Architectural Lightingin St. Louis, MO.
Role:Manages operations of production areas from shop floor to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved.
4-day work week (Monday – Thursday)

Main Job Duties:
Champion for safety
Follows overall production schedules to manage staffing and establish daily and shift production goals.
Monitors shift production metrics to identify and resolve issues and implement process improvements, deveolpement of SOP’s.
Collaborating with department to ensure qaulity, efficient production
Coordinates general department projects and implements solutions from process analysis.
Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
Works with engineering on related manufacturing processes, quality issues and new product implementations.
Coordinates maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed.
Ensures that staff training processes, equipment, gear, and tool requirements are fulfilled to comply with health and safety regulations.
Coaches teams in best practices to provide a safe and efficient work environment and resolve escalated issues and problems.
Analyzes and documents business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies and improve processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5-7 years experience in a manufacturing supervisory/management role
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Ability to understand and analyze complex technical problems
Solid skills in problem solving, statistics, manufacturing quality and outside of the box thinker.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to pivot mid-stream.
Strong personal leadership and communications abilities
Excellent knowledge of fundamental manufacturing principles and processes.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Considerable tact, discretion and integrity to effectively interface with personnel at all levels internally and externally, including the ability to handle information of a highly confidential and/or sensitive nature
