As a Barista, you will:
Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM or 8:00AM to 4:30PM Pay: $10.15 per hour + tips (Avg. $6.00 to $7.00 per hour)
Provide excellent guest service while making quality, hand-crafted beverages. The barista is responsible for educating guests about our premium coffees, teas, gelatos and menu items.
Prepare and sell coffee drinks, such as, espresso, café latte, and cappuccino, by following recipes and preparation techniques.
Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for transaction payments and transports monies to and from the main credit cage.
Deliver guest orders.
Ensure guest satisfaction through food quality checks and respond to guest complaints.
Maintain equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves, and displays clean and well stocked, while continuously checking and ensuring freshness and quality of products.
Maintain a clean and welcoming dining room with attention to detail, sanitation, and safety.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
Previous cash handling experience a plus.
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate.
