Position Description: RN
BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Medical/Surgical – Surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital . As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
This is a med/surg surgical unit that specializes in pre and post op surgical patients. Mainly GI/GU, trauma patients, and any general surgery.
The RN responsibilities include:
Caring for a group of patients with minimum supervision applying the nursing process and clinical standards.
Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
ACLS Certification, if required by department
Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education:
Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience:
6 months of RN experience in acute care or 3 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required. Specific Skills:
