Position Description: RN
BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Med/Surg Neuro team at St. Joseph’s Hospital as an Assistant Nurse Manager . As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
The Neuro unit consists of neuro medical and neuro surgical patients. Come be a part of a comprehensive stroke unit that takes pride in delivering optimal care.
The Assistant Nurse Manager responsibilities include:
Proficiency in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
Supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues.
Supporting the ongoing team member performance appraisal, hiring, and counseling and terminating process.
Acting as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
RN Nursing Specialty certification is preferred Education:
Bachelors degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field is required. Experience: · 2 years of RN experience in acute care, post-acute, or sub-acute experience. · 1 year of leadership experience is preferred. Specific Skills:
