For program details, please contact: Kimberly Sell, Youth Development Program Specialist Kimberly.Sell@isd742.org, 320-370-8237 TYPE OF POSITION: Positions available at Discovery, Madison, Oak Hill, Westwood and Clearview Elementary Schools Monday-Friday, 5:45a.m. - start of the school day (varies per building) Hours may vary based on program needs Program runs through the school year SUPERVISION: Program Assistant REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Community Education QUALIFICATIONS: Required High School Graduate or equivalent Preferred CPR or First Aid Certified Prior experience working with children POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilitator is responsible for the supervision of program assistants; planning, initiating and facilitating planned activities; promoting safe and effective interaction with children in school age programs. SALARY: $15.75/hr ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Plan and implement necessary procedures to ensure each child's safety and comfort Interact with children, parents and school staff in a positive, professional and cooperative manner Use appropriate behavior modification and positive discipline strategies to guide children in successful social interaction and cooperation with expected standards of behavior Facilitate setup, take down and clean-up of procedures Demonstrate a working knowledge of daily program procedures and polices Plan and implement the daily schedule of multiple activities Greet and interact with children and parents each session Advocate for all children Supervise program assistants with regularly scheduled evaluations Plan and implement program accommodations, interventions, developing behavior plans and appropriate follow through Attend workshops and staff development opportunities as requested by the Program Coordinator Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL FACTORS: Frequent: walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing All Employees of Saint Cloud School District 742 are responsible to support District goals, to work collaboratively and respectfully with diverse populations of staff, students and parents and to model and promote a welcoming working and learning environment.
