Aerotek Material Handler in St. Charles, Illinois

Job Description

This position involves handling materials, managing shipping/receiving, and overseeing inventory within a warehouse environment. The role requires cautious handling of valuable and potentially fragile raw materials, as well as large electrical panels that need careful forklift operation. The work environment is focused on productivity and meeting deadlines, while ensuring proper organization and storage of inventory. heavy lifting throughout the whole shift up to 60 lbs is required

Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down forklift to move larger control boxes.

  • Utilize RF scanners and demonstrate basic computer skills.

  • Lift and move boxes to assigned locations.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator within a manufacturing warehouse.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Technical School preferred but not required.

  • Experience with inventory management, RF scanner, loading, pallet jack, and shipping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
