Phlebotomist, Springville NY Part Time. Days. 8 or 10 hour shifts.
Per Diem. Days. 8 hour shifts.
Compensation range: $16.82 -$ 17.84 based on years of experience. $500 Sign-On Bonus. Shifts will be scheduled between 5:00AM - 5:00PM . Department functions 7 days per week. Staff can expect to work a minimum of two weekends per month, and alternating holidays.
As a Phlebotomist on our Laboratory Services team you're responsible for the collection of biological specimens including blood, urine, feces and other) from inpatients and outpatients of all age groups. You'll ensure specimen quality and integrity, assume responsibility for the safety and comfort of patients, and assure correct labeling and processing and transport of all specimens. You'll perform patient registration, work within multiple computer systems/programs, manage multi-line telephone system, perform office/clerical work, as well as other related work as directed by the Laboratory Manager or Laboratory Supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: HS or GED. Six(6) months of phlebotomy work experience is preferred.
