The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Project Analyst to support DTRA's Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) in Springfield, VA. This role involves collaborating with client Program Managers (PMs) and other advisory personnel to implement BTRP priorities effectively. The Project Analyst ensures high-quality and timely deliverables, providing comprehensive project management, financial management, and strategic advisory services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with government counterparts on project and financial management.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, deliverables, and budgets.

  • Facilitate regular communication and coordination with government and external stakeholders.

  • Provide expertise in policy and strategy discussions, supporting interagency and international engagements.

  • Assist in drafting and finalizing acquisition materials and project documentation.

  • Support development of strategic documents, including the OBP Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan.

  • Prepare and present materials for Program Management Reviews and other key meetings.

  • Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to support the implementation of BTRP policies and strategies.

  • Travel internationally as needed to support the BTRP mission.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

  • BA/BS Degree

  • At least 3 years of project management, government acquisition or similar experience.

  • Demonstrated Acquisition experience

  • Experience and successful track record building effective relationship with clients and other stakeholders, understanding client’s requirements and meeting client expectations

  • Experience applying project management best practices in support of multiple ongoing projects while delivering high-quality outputs. Ability to track multiple competing priorities and dynamic portfolio components.

  • Track record working in a matrixed environment, coordinating work across large, diverse teams, and being an effective and collaborative team member.

  • Demonstrated ability to write for senior leaders

  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

  • Ability to travel internationally.

  • Requirement to work in the office at least 2-3 days a week.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • MA/MS Degree

  • Acquisition and/or project management experience

  • 10+ years of project management, government acquisition or similar experience

  • Familiarity with Cooperative Threat Reduction with experience related to DTRA CTR and government acquisition processes.
