Logistics Specialist - Immediate opening!
Work for an international company, supporting local and international logistics operations. You'll be part of a team working to help your customers serve their customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Arrange carrier pick ups, meeting factory and customer requirements
- Prepare bills of lading and shipping documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments to assure packaging specifications
- Communicate effectively with S/R to assure traffic flow
- Provide necessary customs documentation (NAFTA, COO, SED)
- Expedite shipping as necessary
- Verify accuracy of documentation, enter and file as needed
- Enter jobs in to media engine
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of two years' or more related experience in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of domestic and International shipping required
- Strong computer literacy, multiple platforms including MS Office
- ERP experience, SAP preferred
Other Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team oriented environment
- Ability to multi task, make sound decisions, resolve crisis and manage time well under pressure
