ABA Implementer / Registered Behavior Technician

Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN (subject to availability)

Not yet a Registered Behavior Technician? No problem!

Burrell will help you earn and maintain your certification with paid training, and Burrell-provided BCBA assessment. Once you have earned your RBT credential, your pay will also increase.

Job Overview:

The ABA Treatment Specialist / Registered Behavioral Technician implements programming both in the individual and behavioral day treatment setting.

What you will do:

  • Implementation, evaluation of Applied Behavior Analysis programming both individually and in the Day Treatment setting in accordance with the treatment plan.

  • Daily preparation of treatment room and materials.

  • Coordinate and implement group activities.

  • Conduct preference assessments, assist with functional assessments and other individualized assessment procedures, with guidance from the BCBA.

  • Collect data utilizing appropriate measurement procedures and document accordingly to each individual child’s programming. Enter data and update graphs.

  • Assist in duties related to training of other staff in settings where Applied Verbal Behavioral is implemented.

  • Take data and notes specific to each child’s programming,

  • Assist in organization and set up materials needed for treatment, which includes maintaining data sheets and books.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Experience in working with Autism Spectrum

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • RBT certification preferred, but can be earned upon employment

Where you’ll be working:

You’ll be working in our Autism Center on our Main Campus in Springfield, Missouri
