Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Professional Structural Engineer (PE) to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a four-year bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and possess an active Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to stamp and seal engineering documents. This role requires proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SketchUp, and other design software, along with experience in modular design platforms.

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and construction practices. Candidates should have a strong interest in modular construction principles and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. The ability to see beyond standard design practices and teachings, is a plus. Innovation and inspiration, while meeting necessary standards, codes, and regulations, are greatly valued assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and oversee the development of structural systems for modular and conventional construction projects.

  • Create and review detailed engineering drawings and models using Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SketchUp, and other structural design software.

  • Perform structural calculations and load analyses to ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

  • Stamp and approve engineering drawings, reports, and technical documentation.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and cost-effective structural solutions.

  • Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications.

  • Research and implement modular construction principles to optimize prefabrication and off-site construction techniques.

  • Stay up to date with the latest building regulations, engineering advancements, and software updates.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to stamp and seal structural engineering documents. Required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in structural engineering.

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SketchUp, and other engineering design software.

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, structural analysis, and construction regulations (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, etc.).

  • Experience with modular construction principles, prefabrication, and off-site construction methods.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex structural design challenges.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

  • Additional certifications such as SE (Structural Engineer License), LEED, or BIM-related credentials.

  • Experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, or residential modular construction.

  • Knowledge of sustainability and innovative construction materials.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
