Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and guide a team of manufacturing employees. You will play a pivotal role in training and assigning tasks to manufacturing associates, ensuring that daily quotas are met efficiently while upholding safety standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement, minimizing production downtime, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 20-30 manufacturing associates, providing guidance and support.
Train and assign job duties to manufacturing associates to meet daily team quotas.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Minimize production downtime through effective management and problem-solving.
Record and maintain proper documentation using computer skills for data entry.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of PPE for all associates.
Essential Skills
Experience in production and manufacturing processes.
Strong supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in utilizing computer skills for data entry.
Ability to teach and train manufacturing associates effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Any education or certifications related to the manufacturing industry are considered a bonus.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment during the hours of 3rd Shift--Sunday to Thursday, from 11pm to 7:30am . Supervising a team of 20-30 manufacturing associates.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
