Looking for CNC Machinist Trainees
Location: Springfield, IL
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-quality parts.
Learn to read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work closely with experienced machinists and supervisors to gain a comprehensive understanding of CNC machining processes.
Conduct basic quality inspections of finished parts using measuring tools.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework or certification in machining is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning CNC machining techniques.
Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and demonstrate a commitment to growth.
Basic math skills and familiarity with measurement tools like calipers or micrometers preferred but not required.
