Humana is seeking an Executive Recruiting Lead to partner with senior leaders in attracting top talent into highly critical roles, with an emphasis on SVP, VP and confidential roles.
The Executive Recruiter will own and drive the Executive Recruiting Process from initial strategy session / intake to final placement. You will also be a consultant and a coach to functional and business leaders across the company on hiring strategies. In this role you will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with Humana leadership and serve as a brand ambassador for Humana.
Key responsibilities :
Work with all members of the HR team as well as key stakeholders within various business areas to align candidate sourcing with targeted positions
Prescreen candidates by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
Source candidates for select roles with a focus on identifying talent through various digital media, sourcing channels, and local/national outreach efforts
Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates and search tools working within the organizations applicant tracking system
Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives and manage special projects
Manage relationships with third party search firms on executive engagement
Offer a high-touch and differentiated candidate experience
Skillfully manage highly sensitive and confidential candidate searches
Employ diverse and varying sourcing and networking strategies to attract both active and passive talent
Ensure that searches are executed within the lens of diversity and inclusion
Coordinate with the Executive Onboarding team to ensure a seamless onboarding process.

Required qualifications:
10+ years of recruitment experience
5+ years executive recruiting experience either inhouse or with a retained search firm
Experienced in the executive search protocols VP, SVP, C-Suite level roles as well as confidential roles
Deep understanding of executive compensation terms and conditions, non-compete implications and proven ability to negotiate the variables around compensation in a publicly traded organization
Demonstrated experience engaging with and managing the search process with retained firms.
Experience partnering with procurement to negotiate and execute contracts with retained firms
Strong work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency, proactive approach with ability to work within a team
Ability to lead multiple high level executive searches concurrently with successful outcomes
Strong collaboration skills and ability to successfully manage relationship with multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and partner directly with senior executive leaders and key stakeholders
Ability to manage recruiting engagements against changing deadlines and priorities
Experience in a corporate recruiting and/or retained firm environment
Demonstrated ability to source, build, and nurture candidate pipelines for active searches and passive candidates pools
Strong consultations skills – ability to partner and influence senior leaders
Thought leadership
Ability to use market trends and market intelligence to influence and drive recruiting process
Demonstrated attention to detail
Bachelor’s Degree or requisite experience
Preferred skills:
Master’s degree
Recruiting experience in the health solutions and/or insurance industries
Knowledge of talent management, succession planning and coaching

Work-At-Home Requirements:
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
• At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
• Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
• Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
• Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,000 - $143,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
