Volt is immediately hiring for Accounting Specialist in Los Angeles, CA 90017.
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Schedule:
- Hybrid: Monday-Thursday in office, Friday remote (Rarely Friday in office)
- Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible start time from 7:00 AM)
Compensation:
- \$35/Hour
- Discretionary Bonuses
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related experience in AP/AR or General Accounting
- Strong administrative and customer service skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel is preferred
- Experience in the Telecom industry is beneficial
- Comfortable commuting to Downtown LA, (90017)
- Collaborative and comfortable working in an open-floor plan
- Comfortable talking to other departments
As an Accounting Specialist you will:
- Handle emails and phone calls, including answering billing-related questions and transferring calls to correct departments
- Gather information and reconcile vendor bills
- Process payments through portals and reconcile them against customer accounts
- Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks
- Assist with administrative duties such as ordering lunch and office supplies
- Collaborate with other departments
