High Concrete Group Precast Concrete Laborer in Springboro, Ohio

We have provided precastconcretestructures and enclosure systems for a wide variety of projects including educational, government, multi-unit residential, retail,sports complexes/stadiums, and parking garages.
Precast Concrete Laborer are apart of our Production team and handle the setup, stripping and pouring of Concrete to create panels/slabs that are then shipped out for the purpose of building parking garages, sports complexes and office/retail buildings. Positions start at $20.00/hr.
Start Time is 7:30 am - work until finish.
Over time/ Time and a half is paid after 8 hours worked each day
Daily Responsibilities:
- - Reviews prints with attention to detail
- - Pouring Concrete
- - Sets up prints using a tape measure
- - Places steel in forms
- - Uses the bolt cutters to cut the mesh
- - Utilizes concrete saws to cut strand
- - Handles oil sprayers to blow oil forms
Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:
- - Prior construction, roofing, hardscaping or similar background is required
- - Comfortable operating measuring tape to 1/16th of an inch
- - Good with taking instructions, taking feedback, and working as a part of a team.
- - A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
- - Basic math & measurement skills needed as well as knowledge of various hand, power & measurement tools
- - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment are critical
- - Prior concrete and/or construction experience is helpful, but not required
- - Familiarity with reading blueprints a plus!
