Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Anesthesia Technician - Springwoods Village ASC in Spring, Texas

Responsibilities

This position will assist the anesthesia providers and ASC team in the acquisition, preparation, and application of equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia and blocks. Provides support by preparing, setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia, assisting with transporting, positioning, resuscitative efforts of patients, cleaning/disinfection/sterilization of work area/equipment, and supply/inventory management.

Salary Range: $41,880 - $51,725 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School Graduate or GED from an accredited program

Preferred: Completion of an anesthesia technician training program approved by the American Society of

Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT).

Experience

Required: 2 years working as an anesthesia technician (AT).

Preferred: 2-5 years working as an anesthesia technician

License(s)

Required: BLS through American Heart Association

Preferred: Certified Anesthesia Technician

Special Skills

Required: Ability to think critically; strong verbal communication skills; detail oriented and accurate.

Ability to multi-ask and manage time well.

Performs functions independently.

Excellent customer service skills.

Proficient in the operation and decontamination of anesthesia equipment

Preferred: N/A

Other

Required: Basic computer knowledge

Preferred: Microsoft Word

Working Environment: Office, Ambulatory Service Center
