DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: When you work as an Associate Scientist on our Cell & Flow team in our Philadelphia area-based lab, you get to further our mission by performing essential lab functions such as cell counting, PBMC isolation, TruCount, and compensation preparation within a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) laboratory environment. You will be doing this and more while providing guided support to more senior scientists.

In this role, we will rely on you to: * Have a good understanding of the application of good documentation practices, good laboratory practices, good clinical laboratory practices, and data integrity principles * Prepare and review documentation for accuracy with minimal coaching * Perform essential lab functions such as cell counting, PBMC isolation, TruCount and compensation preparation, preparation of staining cocktails independently with minimal guidance * Receive and process clinical samples according to controlled methods and facility SOPS with minimal guidance after training. This can include all steps in both flow cytometer set up and sample processing * Prepare and label laboratory reagents * Perform and/or verify calculations related to reagent preparation and/or sample analysis * Receive and ship out samples, conduct sample and reagent inventory * Create basic experiment plans and analytical plans with guidance * Other duties as required during standard laboratory work

In this role, you will be expected to have: * Bachelor's degree in the Life Sciences * 1 - 3 years of lab experience * Familiarity with flow cytometry and aseptic technique * Explain what TBNK stands for in the context of a clinical trial * Explain best practices in handling fluorescently labeled antibodies * Basic understanding of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Knowledge of Good Clinical Laboratory Practices
