Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to manage a team of 20-30 hourly employees. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of supervision processes, production management, and safety protocols. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for meeting production cost schedules, maintaining quality requirements, and leading/managing their team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a group of 20-30 hourly employees.

  • Drive production numbers and manage disciplinary actions.

  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintained.

  • Meet production cost schedules and maintain quality requirements.

  • Train, develop, and evaluate employees.

  • Maintain department records.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor or production superintendent.

  • Knowledge of supervision processes, driving production numbers, disciplinary action, and reporting.

  • Experience in managing safety protocols.

  • Ability to meet production cost schedules and maintain quality requirements.

  • Experience with training, developing, and evaluating employees.

  • Ability to maintain department records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.

  • 5-7 years of experience required.

  • Strong verbal communication skills to work with UAW employees.

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Knowledge of production processes and managing KPIs.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement.

  • Familiarity with Kronos.

Work Environment

Rotating shift from 6 AM- 3 PM and 3 PM- 1 AM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
