Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to manage a team of 20-30 hourly employees. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of supervision processes, production management, and safety protocols. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for meeting production cost schedules, maintaining quality requirements, and leading/managing their team.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise a group of 20-30 hourly employees.
Drive production numbers and manage disciplinary actions.
Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintained.
Meet production cost schedules and maintain quality requirements.
Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
Maintain department records.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor or production superintendent.
Knowledge of supervision processes, driving production numbers, disciplinary action, and reporting.
Experience in managing safety protocols.
Ability to meet production cost schedules and maintain quality requirements.
Experience with training, developing, and evaluating employees.
Ability to maintain department records.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
5-7 years of experience required.
Strong verbal communication skills to work with UAW employees.
Problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of production processes and managing KPIs.
Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement.
Familiarity with Kronos.
Work Environment
Rotating shift from 6 AM- 3 PM and 3 PM- 1 AM
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
