Production Supervisor in Spring Hill, TN 37174
Responsibilities
Participate in training, developing, and evaluating hourly team members.
Lead Global Manufacturing Systems processes and support launch and pilot activities.
Meet or exceed production cost schedules and maintain quality requirements.
Maintain awareness of quality standards and communicate department quality goals.
Leverage resources to solve quality issues and prevent recurrence of known issues.
Promote safe work practices and achieve objectives for ergonomics, health, safety, and housekeeping.
Motivate, train, and develop employees to effectively perform their jobs using standardized methods.
Ensure team members receive adequate job instruction training.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to achieve production schedules and product requirements.
Coach, teach, counsel, and mentor Group Leaders in their responsibilities.
Essential Skills
5-7 years of experience in production supervision and management.
Experience in automotive manufacturing.
Knowledge of OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2 supplier environments.
Ability to manage hourly associates and drive continuous improvement.
Proficiency in assembly, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred experience in automotive manufacturing.
Familiarity with OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2 supplier standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87/hr.
