MONROE COUNTY PERSONNEL Deputy Medical Examiner in SPARTA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Do you have critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and have an interest in investigating sudden and unnatural deaths? If so, Monroe County\'s Medical Examiner Office might have the job for you! We\'re hiring for a (on-call) Deputy Medical Examiner. Our Deputy Medical Examiner will conduct investigations of all deaths of unusual or violent nature, or in cases where no physician was in attendance within 30 days preceding the death. The Deputy Medical Examiner will work with the County Medical Examiner to provide 24 hour availability to respond to death calls to observe the death scene, question witnesses, and examine evidence to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident. This position may also testify as an expert witness concerning the facts and conclusions disclosed by autopsies, physical exams, and other tests. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of two years\' experience in prior mentioned field is desired.
