Summary:

Provide tactical leadership to the center organization in the areas of specialty product business management, development, planning, and financial assessment. Development and support a compliance and quality environment around Specialty Product Programs. Develop, oversee and maintain the processes to support the vision, mission and goals of the company.

Primary responsibilities for role:

  • Assist Director of Specialty Product Programs in creating and maintaining an organizational environment and value system, which stimulates the morale and productivity of the facilities in Specialty Products Programs.

  • Assist Director of Specialty Product Programs in providing tactical direction, planning, oversite and customer focus for the Specialty Product Programs within the organization.

  • Monitor and evaluate operation of facilities to ensure that facilities are in full compliance with State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, OSHA, CLIA, CGMP, as well as all internal company procedures, in-process controls; feedback to Divisional Leadership.

  • Maintain open and positive lines of communication with Center Leadership, Divisional Leadership, and Corporate Supporting Departments.

  • Maintain thorough familiarity of State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, European regulations, OSHA, CLIA, CGMP, internal company procedures, and stay informed of external events that could affect the organization and its future operations with Specialty Product Programs.

  • Assist Center Personnel and Corporate Departments with technical and administrative questions related to Specialty Product Programs.

  • Use of critical and analytical thinking skills to evaluate, meet, or exceed established performance targets within the Specialty Product Programs.

  • Act as liaison in collaboration with departments on company initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience in plasma operations, including Specialty Products, business development, infrastructure management, and project management.

  • COMMUNICATION: Expresses thoughts clearly, verbally and in writing; seeks out and develops productive work relationships; listens with empathy, responds diplomatically; is approachable/available; responds well to questions; listens and gets clarification.

  • TEAM WORK: Balances individual and unit responsibilities; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a “user-friendly” environment, ensures cooperation and cohesion.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s of Science Degree

Occupational Demands:

Must be able to sit and read for 6-8 hours at a time. Repetitive hand movement with both hands. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 30 pounds. Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms. Personal protective equipment may be required. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to a diverse group.

This position is remote based.

Pay scale of $69,418.00 - $104,128.00 per year for Colorado Residents and $79,830.70 - $119,747.20 per year for California and Washington Residents, depending on training, education and experience. This position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. We offer benefits including medical, PTO, up to 5% 401K match, and tuition reimbursement.
