Summary About the position: This position is located at the Eifel Mountain Golf Course, Spangdahlem AB, Germany. Work schedule is Monday through Sunday, days, evenings and holidays. Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or assist recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities. The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to: Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities, records attendance, takes reservations and payment, notifies participants of schedule changes. Arranges for use of equipment or tools, and checks them for condition on their return. Posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers questions about items, locations, or other matters related to activities scheduled. Conducts inventory of recreation supplies and equipment. Checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment. Assists within the Pro Shop. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities, is desirable. However no experience is required. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
