Job Description:
The Marketing Strategist Manager oversees the overall marketing strategy and plan execution for selected IT vendors in EMEA. The marketing strategist manager ensures alignment of all marketing activities to the business plans and sales objectives Arrow has with the selected IT vendors. As such, he/she works with sales counterparts in the development and implementation of go-to-market and marketing plans targeting both channel partners, and potentially targeted end customers. He/she develops and maintains a high level of rapport with internal and external stakeholders as the role requires extensive collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Develops, plans and leads the execution of marketing strategy and experiences to promote solutions from selected IT vendors targeting both channel partners and potentially targeted end customers, using modern marketing capabilities
Is in charge of the full marketing mix: to recruit, enable, and grow channel partners and to develop net new business through demand generation programs targeting end customers
Liaise with other marketing strategists in NA to build synergies and works collaboratively with other functions of Arrow ECS Marketing.
Applies a deep understanding of Arrow's value proposition and initiatives in the technology domain, and of digital marketing services to guide marketing planning and strategies
Monitors closely the progress made on the execution of the campaigns in EMEA
Uses advanced understanding of go-to-market strategies, product positioning and messaging and target audiences/personas to create high-impact marketing campaigns that generate sales ready leads from suitable buyers
Uses effective internal and external performance benchmarks in planning and pitching effective marketing plan to the selected vendors resulting in approvals
Owns the marketing investment and spending strategy to deliver ROI against the marketing plans the region, through effective marketing execution, leveraging Arrow ECS Performance Marketing Team
Uses marketing campaign brief development methodology to create effective campaign plans, aligns business on those plans, and then works with Arrow ECS campaign managers and production team to execute and tracks the effectiveness of marketing investments
Uses approved Marketing campaign workflows to interact with other marketing teams, works on marketing best practices and benchmarks and uses those in the planning and pitching process with selected vendors
Analyzes and articulates campaign effectiveness and metrics to Arrow, including but not limited to MQLs, Pipeline Value and Estimated Revenue. Proposes creative ideas to maximize the impact of campaigns and drive growth
Manages and governs marketing campaign budget(s). Governs and approves spend of marketing budget against the plan campaigns and performs the claim process
Requirements:
Typically requires 5 to 7 years of related experience in B2B marketing with IT vendors
Minimum 3 years strategic marketing plan creation experience; experience in modern marketing: digital marketing and Account Based Marketing are a must
Experience working with or for channels is mandatory
Team player, with strong interpersonal service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle several projects and multiple stakeholders at one time
Strong communication skills in English, verbal and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
