Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Project Engineer and contribute to the success of electrical construction projects in healthcare, wastewater, and municipal sectors. In this role, you will assist Project Managers with day-to-day functions, ensuring the smooth execution and coordination of project activities. Your responsibilities will include preparing and processing submittals and Requests for Information, preparing detailed system layouts and sketches, coordinating the installation of electrical work, purchasing and tracking materials, preparing quotations and estimating, coordinating manpower resources, representing the company in meetings, and maintaining current contract documents.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Southfield, Michigan.

Work Environment

The team consists of 45 employees working onsite in Southfield, with an additional 3 employees in AA. Fridays typically feature a team lunch provided by Project Managers. Remote work possibilities are available if there are personal conflicts. Just not regularly. Career progression from this role can lead to positions in Project Management or Estimating, with potential ownership opportunities.
