Your Role
You will report to a Manager and have general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. You will work Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, and will be paid weekly at $19.50 per hour.
Your Responsibilities
You will make recommendations to the Warehouse Supervisor on processes to set up goals and improve operations
Operatematerial handling equipment
Directthe activities of warehouse associates
Helpdevelop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouseequipment
Implementprocesses to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
Overseethe warehouse housekeeping program
Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked andshipped
Follow health andsafety policies that follow company and OSHA regulations
Beavailable to work overtime and weekends
Your Skills and Experiences
High school diploma or equivalent
2+years of experience in a warehouse environment
Atleast 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
Forkliftoperating experience including a reach truck and order/cherry forklift trucks
Experience with Manhattan, SAP or any other WMS (Warehouse Management System)
Experience with MicrosoftOutlook and Excel for data entry and maintaining spread sheets
Basictechnical and math skills
