Position Overview:

Our client is growing and seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to join their team!! The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and assisting with reporting and analysis tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.

  • Analyze and interpret financial data to assist with compliance reporting and decision-making processes

  • Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, such as invoicing, payment processing, and collections management.

  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Prepare financial analyses and reports for management, as required.

  • Utilize advanced MS Excel functions (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, and modeling skills) to organize and automate data (Source: SG25-TREND 6).

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide financial support and resolve inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated skills in complex formulas

  • Knowledge of ERP systems

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
