The pay for the Meat Wrapper position is $21.94/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 1st Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick and pack orders per customer specification.

  • Scan product as directed to capture required data.

  • Transport Product and package accordingly utilizing prescribed equipment.

  • Sort, organize, repack, palletize, track, weight and break down various products to assist production.

  • Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment.

  • Perform various facility sanitation duties as required.

  • Operate assigned production equipment utilized for further processing.

  • Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management.

  • This position could require overtime with or without notice, finish time is when the work is completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training: High School Education or equivalent preferred.

Related Experience: Production and/or warehouse experience in a food environment preferred. Able to work overtime as needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Perform various roles including activities such as product receiving and selection, packaging, sorting, re-boxing and facility sanitation while adhering to company manufacturing requirements and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements : Manual dexterity, ability to lift over 50-60 pounds regularly and 80-100 pounds occasionally, ability to bend, twist, grasp, reach, push and use repetitive motions as required, ability to withstand temperatures of 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit for periods of 2-3 hours.

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Minnesota, the expected compensation for this role is $21.94.

This role is also eligible for overtime compensation.
