ALMAC Group CS PA Development Engineer-Mechanical in Souderton, Pennsylvania
Reference #: 8a78879e94d8db240194f581337849a9 Almac Group is currently seeking a Development Engineer- Mechanical for our Souderton, Pa location. The Development Engineer- Mechanical will be responsible for the development and support of equipment, including upgrades of existing equipment, and introduction of new equipment. The post holder will report to the Associate Director - Machine Construction and Proc Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking ownership of PA Manufacturing requests from design to Implementation Assisting with the design of various equipment development projects as required Mechanical component design using Solidworks and AutoCad Generating engineering drawings for manufacture as required to support Operations and Design Teams Generation of equipment drawings, and layouts to support existing and new projects
Qualifications: Required Experience / Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Previous experience in an Engineering environment Intern/Placement experience, min 6 months
Preferred Experience:
Intern/Placement experience in a Life Science/Pharma environment Engineering drawing in a manufacturing environment
Required Knowledge Knowledge of Materials science, properties, selection and application Manufacturing techniques, Milling,turning, Additive Manufacturing AutoCAD Solidworks in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Knowledge: CAM Systems Pneumatics Hydraulics PLC C++
