Job Overview:
You will be responsible for washing the pots and pans, dispose of trash and cardboard.
When assigned to this room, employee ensures that dish machine and overall dish room is set according to department standards. Soaks, washes, rinses sanitized and stores all pots, pans and utensils used in food preparation of service all items are free from food, soil, and grease. Removes all garbage from the department as needed. Keep work area in a clean, neat and organized fashion.
Qualifications:
Required:
Excellent customer services skill
Must be able to speak and understand English
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Previous food service experience
Scheduling Requirements:
Day Shifts 7am-3:30pm
Weekdays & Weekend rotation/Holidays
Full Time
Essential Functions:
Sweeps and mops kitchen and cafeteria
Follow proper washing and drying instructions of pots and equipment
Use correct soap and chemicals as required
Change water as needed to ensure fresh mopping takes place
Rinse out garbage cans as needed to keep food and odor free
Place proper signage when mopping o ensure safety of fellow workers and visitors
