Being a Compliance and Risk Management Coordinator for Devereux has its Advantages

As a Compliance and Risk Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for working in partnership with all departments to coordinate, implement, and support the Center’s Comprehensive Risk Management plan for Devereux NJ. We also offer you the opportunity to learn and grow with a very diverse and knowledgeable Compliance Team.This position is located in our Somerset location.

Salary: $53,000 - $60,000

Responsibilities include:

  • Certified investigator of internal incidents and will have primary responsibility of conducting most internal investigations.

  • Work collaboratively with operations team members to ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relative procedures and licensing requirements set by Devereux NJ and State and Department of Human Services regulations.

  • Manage and oversee the internal incident reporting database, the assignment and tracking of internal investigations and work with applicable partners to ensure all investigative reports are submitted in accordance with NJ and Department of Human Services regulations.

  • Participate in all work projects and committees applicable to Compliance and Risk Management, and other groups that match their individual interests and skillset.

Qualifications

The accomplished individual will possess:

  • Bachelors degree in applicable field required.

  • Three years experience in a health care residential or community services setting.

  • Four or more years in a related State or community based residential or developmental center operations role needed.

  • Must possess knowledge of Quality Management activities and be familiar with relevant regulations.

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of information systems, database management, and processes for data collection and analysis.

  • Knowledge of DDD regulations and licensing standards preferred.
